The unusual design is Mercedes-Benz’s first foray into the world of motor yachts, which is the first vessel to bear the name of Mercedes-Benz Style.
Measuring at just over 46 feet long, the Arrow 460 Granturismo has a price tag that begins at $1.7 million (£1.2 million) and represents ‘luxury, style and pleasure’.

Only 10 boats will be produced for the first edition of the vessel and only one person from each country can own the luxury boat
The original plans were unveiled in 2012 at the Monaco Yacht Show with the official debut set for spring this year.
It’s taken its inspirations from the Mercedes-Benz racing cars dating back to the 1930s according to MBY.com.
There has been sea trials of the bodywork as early as 2012 and the original plans were to have the boats available for purchase by September 2013.
However, the vessel appears to be finally already.
From the side, the unusual design of the boat means that it resembles a sleek saloon car, seemingly floating in the water
It’s been created in collaboration with Silver Arrows Marine and the design was first unveiled in 2012 but only recently realised.
Luxatic has revealed that the motor yacht, which has room for 10, will be powered by a pair of Yanmar diesel engines, at 480 horsepower each, which will bring the cruising speed up to 30knot.
The interior will feature nubuck leather and eucalyptus wood paneling. There will also be windows that will automatically adjust with sun light.
It will also offer luxurious features like a wine cellar and a premium audio system.

In early descriptions of the project, the company has stated on its website: ‘The Mercedes-Benz motor yacht represents the next stage in Daimler’s vision of all-encompassing mobility – embracing everything that the three-pointed star stands for on land, in the air, and on the sea.’
According to Luxurious Magazine, just 10 boats will be produced for Edition 1 and only one person per country will be able to buy the boat.
Speaking to the magazine, Ron Gibbs, Silver Arrows Marine Chairman said: ‘By ensuring that the yachts all go to different countries we can guarantee that just one individual in each country will be able to say: “I am the first captain of the first Silver Arrow of the seas”.
‘We are already in discussions with potential owners and reservations are now being taken on a first-come, first-served basis.’
